Key Updates on CBSE Board Exam 2027
As students eagerly await the release of the date sheet for the upcoming board exams, the board is currently focusing on administrative prerequisites. Schools are completing student registrations and corrections through the List of Candidates (LOC) portal.
LOC Correction Window Active
The CBSE has opened the LOC correction window for Classes 10 and 12. Schools and students have been given a deadline of November 7, 2026, to make necessary corrections to the submitted forms. This step is critical before the board proceeds to finalize the examination schedule and seating arrangements.
Potential Exam Timelines and Clashes
Educational updates suggest that discussions are underway regarding the alignment of board examination dates with competitive entrance tests like JEE Main. Historically, CBSE ensures that major stream subjects do not severely overlap with national entrance exams, though official confirmation on exact exam dates will only be clear once the timetable PDF is uploaded on the official website.
